As part of the transition from primary to secondary education, the Mathematics Department at St Michael's invited pupils to attend a mathematics competition. Year 5 pupils have recently completed their competition, which involved working algebraically to solve problems, in a race against time whilst competing with other schools.

The pupils in attendance all really enjoyed themselves and worked exceptionally well as a team throughout the events. With much perseverance, determination and thorough application of their problem-solving skills, Year 5 pupils won the multi-school competition. Well done to the Year 5 pupils involved in this event.
