Dear Families,

This week saw our first-ever Temple Meadow Reception Open Event and I was blown away by how fabulous, calm, and purposeful all learning environments were during our school tour. We had around 20 potential families join us to experience first hand just how warm and nurturing our school really is.

Our Head Boys and Girls shared their experiences at Temple Meadow and why they are so proud to be part of our school community. Their heartfelt and authentic voices, linked to their personal experiences, really made my heart melt—they truly made us all proud!

If you know anyone looking for a Reception place for September 2025, please remind them that they can still sign up to attend our second open event. This is scheduled for Wednesday 27th November 2024.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Miss Dale for hosting our annual RSHE workshop for families; those who attended were very complimentary. We were also joined by one our Governors, Aman, and I would like to extend our thanks to him for supporting us in such an important discussion.

Communication to Families

We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding how we communicate with families moving forward.

Effective immediately, text messages will only be used for urgent matters such as:

If your child has experienced a head bump.
If there is an emergency that requires your immediate attention, such as a school closure.

For all other non-urgent communications, such as general updates and reminders, we will now be using email as our primary method of communication.

Please make sure to regularly check your email inbox to stay updated. If you have any questions, please contact our School Office.

Family Volunteer Questionnaire

We are reaching out to invite our families to participate in our Family Volunteer Questionnaire. This is designed to identify those adults who are interested in supporting our school community through various events and activities.

Whether you’re available to help occasionally or on a regular basis, we greatly appreciate any time you can offer! Volunteers play a vital role in making school events and activities successful and there are lots of opportunities to get involved.

By completing the questionnaire, you can let us know how and when you’d like to volunteer.

We’re thrilled to announce that on Thursday 19th December 2024, Temple Meadow will be hosting our first-ever Christmas Movie Night!

Flu Immunisations

Thank you to all the families who registered their child to receive the flu immunisation on Tuesday. We appreciate your support in helping keep our school community healthy!
