Dear Families,
This week has been a fantastic one here at Temple Meadow! We’ve been celebrating both Anti-Bullying Week and Children in Need and it’s been heart-warming to see everyone coming together for these meaningful causes.
On Tuesday, the children wore odd socks to show their support for our anti-bullying culture, celebrating the uniqueness and individuality that make us all special. As we wrap up the week, we invite you to visit ParentPay to make any remaining donations for Children in Need. Don’t forget to join us after school for a cake sale, where all proceeds will go to good causes.
On a personal note, I was thrilled to watch a special edition of Interior Design Masters this week, featuring six of Britain’s favourite personalities competing in makeovers for charity. This episode supports the Sandwell Young Carers Project (SYCP), funded by BBC Children in Need. It’s wonderful to see a local Sandwell project celebrated on a national stage and I hope you get a chance to watch—it’s a fantastic way to recognise the incredible work happening in our community.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Cleal, who recently took a group of Key Stage 2 girls from Years 5 and 6 to the Dome at West Bromwich Albion for a football competition against local primary schools. We are so proud of the children who represented Temple Meadow, demonstrating skill, teamwork, and school spirit. Please see below for more information on this fantastic experience Well done to all involved!
This is my final reminder to book your slot for our upcoming Family Engagement Evening (formerly known as Parents’ Evening). This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with teachers, review your child’s progress, and engage with their learning journey.
If you need any assistance with booking, please feel free to reach out to your child's class teacher or contact our School Office, who will be more than happy to help. We look forward to welcoming you!
