Wow! What an incredible week at Temple Meadow!
We have been extremely busy in classrooms, with two learning walks taking place. The first was a visit from the Maths Hub and the second was with our American colleagues working with us on the Teach Like a Champion programme. I can only say how proud I am of our amazing school—we received such incredible feedback, which I will share with you below.
On Wednesday evening, we held our Family Engagement Evening and it was an absolute pleasure to speak with so many families informally throughout the night. Children loved sharing their work with their families and spotting the stickers in their books! A huge thank you to Ben and Claire, our Chair and Vice-Chair of Governors, who attended and had the opportunity to speak with many of you during the event.
On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day, with so many children and staff joining in the fun. We hope every child enjoyed bringing home a surprise pre-loved book of their choice to continue fostering a love for reading.
This week, our Year 6 children have received their secondary school place offers. We hope that all of our children have secured their preferred choices and are excited about the next step in their educational journey.
It’s hard to believe how little time they have left with us. We are incredibly proud of their progress and all they have achieved during their time here. As they prepare for this exciting new chapter, we will continue to support them every step of the way.
Today our chicks in Year 2 were re-homed—a huge thank you to Mrs Betney for adopting them!
Finally, as we enter the month of Ramadan, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to all those who are observing this important time. We understand that Ramadan is a time of both spiritual and physical dedication, and we are here to support our children in any way we can.
Thank you all for another fantastic week. Your continued support makes Temple Meadow the special place that it is!
