As we move into our final week of this 7-week half-term, I would like to remind you of a few upcoming events. Next week, we look forward to welcoming four Year 10 students from Ormiston Forge Academy, who will be completing a week of work experience with us across the school. We are proud to support these young adults as they prepare for the world of work and encourage them on their journey in education.
Our Year 4 Lion King performance for families is on Monday 7th April at 2:30 pm. We would love for you to join us to see the children’s wonderful performance.
In addition, following the persistence of our Head Girls, we have successfully arranged for a visit from Councillor Allcock, who will be talking to us about how we can deter local residents from leaving dog mess around our school grounds—watch this space!
Year 2 will be sharing their rock performance on Wednesday at 9:00am and we look forward to seeing you there.
Our Hub team will be hosting a Stay and Play session on Wednesday 9th April at 9:00am. Families invited will have received separate communication from Mrs. Bayley.
Our Nursery will also be hosting a Stay and Play session on Thursday, 10th April, at 9:00 am, with a second session at 2:15 pm.
Year 5 will be performing their Hip Hop routine to families at 2:30 pm on Thursday. It promises to be a fun event!
Thursday is also the day for children to bring in their Easter Egg decorating competition entries. The winners will be announced in our final assembly next Friday.
